Mayol has over 20 years of experience advising financial institutions and companies the US and Latin America requiring innovative financial solutions and process improvements.
Currently serves as Managing Director for EIA Global and is responsible for Investor Relations, engaging Banks, Fintech, and Non-Bank Financial Institutions around the world seeking to mitigate and finance US and Emerging Market Corporate and Commercial Loans. Prior to EIA Global, Mayol ventured as an Entrepreneur starting his own boutique Consulting Firm in 2017 focused on Innovation in Financial Services. Prior to that he was charged with Business Development at Wells Fargo being the initial conduit through which the bank delivered its Global Banking products and services to Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking clients in Florida. Before that Mayol spent 8 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he managed the Global Trade and Supply Chain, Asset Distribution and Portfolio Optimization businesses for Latin America. He also managed the Corporate Transaction Banking activities for Andean and Southern Cone regions as well as Trade business development responsibilities for the commercial bank in the Southeast US.
He also served as Head of Structured Trade and ECA Finance for Latin America at Wachovia Bank, headed Financial Institutions business Mexico and South America at Regions Bank, worked at Commerce Bank as a Regional Trade Officer and at Bladex (Trade Bank of Latin America) as a Country Manager and Structured Products Head.
Mayol is a Community Leader, serving in numerous capacities with leading industry organizations. He is the Founder and CEO for Apprentice Worldwide, a Global Career Development Network empowering the Next Generation of Business Leaders. He is currently the Country Manager for Planet of finance, the largest marketplace dedicated to financial professionals and investors seeking opportunities. He has been the Chairman of the Trade and International Financing Committee for the Florida International Bankers Association (FIBA) for the past 8 years and was a 10-year Executive Board Member of the Association of Trade and Forfaiting in the Americas (now ITFA). His other affiliations have included The Banker’s Association of Foreign Trade (BAFT), Federation of Latin American Banks, and Factors Chain International. Mayol has an MBA and BBA in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami and is an Adjunct Professor for the College of Business’ Office of Executive and Professional Education at Florida International University.
